Skilled Babysitter's Course
Parents may struggle to find good, safe and reliable babysitters.  You could be one of them!

First life Training is able to provide babysitters, boys and girls, with first aid and other skills through its babysitter's training. Designed for 14-18 year-olds, the course can be completed in just one week end and includes information on how to:

  • Care for children and infants;
  • Make good decisions and solve problems;
  • Keep the children you babysit and yourself safe;
  • Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents;
  • Infant and Children CPR; and
  • What are the respective rights and responsibilities of the babysitter and the family hiring one.
A consent form will need to be completed and brought with you on the day or it could be emailed or posted out in advance.
